Blessings & the Nine-Day Week: How Numerology Taught Me to Slow Down

Hi, I’m Mariam, numerologist, herbal honey maker, space-holder, and daughter in this mother-daughter duo we call Blessings Bee Bzzaar. Among the many hats my mom and I wear (and believe me, there are many), numerology is one I wear every day. Not because it’s trendy. Not because it’s mystical and mysterious (although it is a little bit). But because it works.

Numerology has changed my life, not just in the woo-woo spiritual sense (though it’s helped there too), but in the real, grounded, how-I-plan-my-day and show-up-for-myself sense.

It gave me permission to slow down.
It gave me structure when my brain was spiraling.
And it gave me context for why some days just feel… the way they do.

From Chaos to Clarity (and Still a Little Chaos)

I used to think I was a multitasking queen. And in some ways, I was , but what I was actually doing was rapidly switching between tasks and convincing myself that I was “doing it all at once.” (Spoiler: I wasn’t.)

It left me drained, overstimulated, and scattered. I was doing so much without ever really landing in any of it.

Then numerology tapped me on the shoulder and whispered,
“One thing at a time, love.”
(Okay, maybe she shouted. She knows how to get my attention.)

Living with a Nine-Day Week

Here’s where things get weird, and wonderful.

I stopped organizing my life by the typical seven-day calendar. I created a nine-day weekly planner based on the numerological cycle from 1 to 9.

Each number holds its own essence, its own rhythm.
And instead of living on a loop that didn't match my energy, I started aligning my focus with the number of the day.

🔹 1 Days are for leadership, fresh starts, solo missions.
🔹 2 Days are for trust, patience, and not digging up seeds to see if they’re growing.
🔹 3 Days are creative. Think joyful mess-making.
🔹 4 Days (my fave — shoutout to my attitude number!) are for structure, foundations, systems, and being a total nerd with spreadsheets.
… and on and on, through 9.

It might sound woo, but it works. I plan my days around what feels aligned, not what looks good on a productivity tracker. And my planner? It evolved.
First it was a weekly planner.
Then monthly.
Then yearly.
Because every goal, business, body, food, spirit, has a season. Numerology helped me recognize mine.

Numerology Is Math, With It’s Meaning

You don’t need to know your exact time of birth. You don’t even need your full name. You just need curiosity.

Most people already feel connected to numbers. Maybe you’ve got a lucky number. Or one that shows up again and again. That’s a clue. That’s your energy whispering.

The more I work with numbers, the more I see them as essences that live inside us. Some people carry a lot of “5” energy (freedom, movement, adaptability). Others are walking, talking “6” vibes (caregivers, harmonizers, beauty lovers).

It’s not about being boxed in. It’s about being understood, by yourself, first and foremost.

Why This Matters (and What It Has to Do with Bees)

At Blessings Bee Bzzaar, we’re big on slow living. We’re big on grace. We’re big on saying:

“Hey… maybe you’re not lazy. Maybe you’re just not aligned.”

Numerology helped me stop brushing past my life.
You know brushing, when you're rushing so fast you barely feel your feet on the ground? Yeah. That.
Numerology gave me a way to tune in. To give myself grace. To commit to one thing at a time, instead of five things at once and none of them fully.

Want to Try It Out?

If this nine-day week concept speaks to you, keep an eye out. I’ll be sharing more about what each number day means, how to find your personal year, personal day, and how your attitude number can become your secret self-awareness weapon (or comfort blanket).

And if all that sounds like a lot, start small. Pay attention to the numbers that show up in your life. The ones you feel. That’s where the magic starts.

In the Hive Together

Just like bees, we believe everyone has their role, and we’re all part of the collective ecosystem.
We're not here to gatekeep anything. If something we do helps you live softer, slower, or more in tune with your truth, we’re honored to share it.
This blog? It’s not a megaphone. It’s a community. And you’re already in it.

So here’s to the art of slow living.
To weird calendars and nerdy planners.
To numbers that love you.
And to living one aligned day at a time.

With so much love,
Mariam 🐝
