Brewing & Preparation

• Botanical Steam (Best Use): Place 1–2 tablespoons of cut leaves in a large bowl of steaming water. Drape a light towel over your head and bowl, inhale deeply through the nose and mouth for 5–10 minutes to soothe and open the sinuses.

• Infusion / Tea: Steep 1/2 to 1 teaspoon in 8 oz of hot water, covered, for 8–10 minutes. Often blended with soothing herbs to balance its sharp camphorous flavor.

• Pairs Well With: Peppermint, Thyme, Mullein Leaf, Marshmallow Root, Rosemary.

Precautions & Storage

• Precautions: Best suited for aromatic steams and baths; use in teas moderately due to high volatile oil potency. Not recommended for internal use in large quantities during pregnancy, nursing, or for infants and young children.
